What is the binary converter?

The binary converter translates text into binary code, each byte written as 8 bits separated by spaces, and translates binary code back into text. Text is encoded as UTF-8, so every character is supported. The conversion runs in your browser.

It's a fun way to learn how computers store text, to solve puzzles and CTF challenges, or to create hidden messages.

How to use the binary converter

  1. 1Paste text, or binary groups separated by spaces.
