Turn a list of URLs into a valid XML sitemap.
The XML sitemap generator turns a list of URLs into a sitemap.xml file that follows the sitemaps.org protocol. Add the last modified date, the change frequency and the priority, or let the priority follow the depth of each URL.
A sitemap helps search engines discover all your pages, especially new pages and pages with few internal links. Submit it in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, and reference it in robots.txt.
Special characters such as & are escaped correctly.
Duplicates and lines that aren't URLs are skipped.
Give the home page 1.0 and deeper pages a lower priority.
The limit of a single sitemap file.
Up to 50,000 URLs and 50 MB. Bigger sites use several sitemaps and a sitemap index.
Google ignores them and uses lastmod when it's accurate. Other search engines may still read them.
Only canonical pages that you want indexed: no redirects, no noindex pages and no duplicates.
Add it in Google Search Console under Sitemaps, and add a Sitemap: line to robots.txt.
